Ricky Mgalu Solomon

Ricky, Director Edustar Company Limited is a seasoned professional soccer player, youth mentor and counselor, trainer and manager. He has demonstrated his skills and capability over a period of 25 years initially as a young adolescent and later on as a trainer and manger while working with youth in high schools both in East Africa and Seychelles. Rick obtained professional training skills in soccer by the best such as Reinhardt Furbish and acquired high level certificate DBF. Ricky has over the last 35 years demonstrated his skills and experience by seating on various national positions in Football namely Kenya Football Federation. In 2011 Ricky was elected unopposed as National Chairman for Kenya Football Coaches Association - KEFOCA a position he still holds to date; 2014 August- Appointed to seat on the CECAFA -Technical Organizing Committee – Mombasa; 2012- Appointed to the East & Central Football Association on the Committee of Youth, Women; 2005 -Appointed to Kenya National Soccer Team ‘Harambee Stars’ Technical committee; 2003 -Appointed National Team Manager for the Harambee Stars Youth team; 1994-1998 - Assistant Secretary Technical Coast Branch –KFF; 1990-1994- Elected Senior Vice-chairman Mombasa District – KFF. His passion for instilling leadership skills in young people and keeping them out of engaging in risky health practices such as drugs and substance abuse led him to register a company limited by guarantee called Mwenge Sports Center. As Director of Mwenge Sports Center 2004-2010: the core aim of this organization was to support, encourage, mentor and rehabilitate youth through football. Through Mwenge Sports Centre Ricky was able to establish a soccer team that participated in 4 sessions consistently in the International Soccer tournaments 2006-2009 in Sweden, Norway and Tanzania. Ricky’s work both as a trainer and a manager has always led him working in close collaboration with key stakeholders within the soccer fraternity in East Africa Sweden, Norway and Dubai.

A .Joseph who is our Director –Business Development- India, and SE Asia is an engineering consultant specialised in Metallizing and Surface Treatment and brings with him a formidable 26 plus years of peerless experience in Metal coatings ,Anti-corrosion solutions ,workshop management and tool room procedures. As Works Manager for 17 years with M/s Metallizers pvt ltd India’s pioneering company credited with introducing the concept of metalizing in India ,Joseph has worked with a plethora of industries ranging from the Automobile segment, to the food industry and had during that period serviced some of the biggest Industrial houses in India such as Larsen & Toulbro, The South Indian Railways, Hindustan Motors, SPIC, South India Shipping Corp, Richardson & Cruddas and Atlas Copco to name a few. He has since then worked as a consultant in market research for Taylor Nelson Sofres Mode and as liaison officer for the Indian Academy of Interdisciplinary Dentistry . He is well travelled and has a good understanding of the different cultures and peoples of the countries he has visited.
